The software will not communicate with the blood pressure monitor, as evidence when the customer cannot get the “Send ID” and “Data Transfer” buttons highlighted or state that they are greyed out.

Cause may vary with operating system. If operating system is not XP or MS Windows 2000 proceed to the problem listed above. If the system is XP or MS Windows 2000 proceed with the following. Note software does not work with Windows 98 only 98SE.

1. Plug in BP monitor to computer with provided USB cable.
2. Right click the software’s icon on desktop and choose Properties.
3. Choose the shortcut tab. Click on find target. Directory for software will open.
4. Double click on USB Driver folder. Locate the file HidComInst.exe double click on it
5. Hourglass will briefly appear as the communication drivers are installed.
6. Close open folders and launch software. Click on your profile so that there is a yellow rectangle around it
7. Send ID button should be highlighted dark blue. Click on it and answer the questions to link BP
8. Data transfer button should now be come available. Click to transfer data
